I was expecting to finish building the workshop by the end of autumn. Like most projects my October deadline was turned into December… Long story short; my building site has transformed into a fully functioning workshop.

I have some bad and good news: The bad news: I will not accept any customer work until next year! I would like to finish the odd little jobs that still needs doing and get used to the new workshop. The good news: It’s not long until next year! I will start accepting service work from 2 of January 2018. There will be a booking site where one can request to have their watch serviced. I will provide you all with a closer look at the workshop next year:)

Mitka that looks fantastic! I am sure you are glad to be finishing up! Great work and such a transformation!
Great news. I will keep an eye open for when your booking site opens so that I can book in my ‘unknown’ mechanical vintage watch.
Very well done.
Nice and clean.
Bet u relieved and pleased to say the least.
Now time to chill and enjoy the rest of this month with the family I think.
Have a good one.
PS I suppose a Work Shop – House warming party for the New Year – with lots party poppers and the usual mess , is out of the question then ?
I will sit alone in my workshop with a bottle of wine:P
Looks fantastic! Is that bench from Ikea? I noticed their bench the last time I was there, and, interesting to me, it would meet the height requirement needed for watchmaking.
Yes Ikea bench does the job very well!:)
Brilliant!
