A customer has sent in this lovely little IWC. It’s running, but not keeping time and could do with a service.
Amplitude is not to bad, but the running is erratic and all the jewels are dry. The movement has a very nice finish!
Movement has been cleaned and is now ready to be put back together. Only issue I have had so far, is that everything is tiny;)
I fit the shock jewels and see that the balance moves freely. The mainspring is cleaned and is put back into the barrel. Being a T-end mainspring makes it a little more tricky.
The watch comes together again! I must say it’s one of the nicer ladies movements I have worked on.
