A customer has sent in this very nice oversized 1940’s Royce. Its in good condition, but needs some attention.
The movement looks to be in good condition. Very cool lettering on the dial! I find the calibre reference number on the dial side.
I charge a little extra for non shock protected movements only because they usually take longer to take apart and back together again.
The movement is cleaned. I fit a new mainspring and see that the balance moves freely.
Movement comes together and starts ticking.
The movement is running very fast, I need to add some balance washers to slow it down.
This is a great looking watch.
