Marc Favre introduced their calibre: 595 mostly to sell to Universal Geneve who introduced it as their calibre 262 and 263 for centre seconds. When introduced it lacked shock protection, but Inca shock was soon added. Alpina also utilised the movement, but with no differences from the Marc Favre version.

Surface finish is of high quality. All screws are polished and have good finish. The bridges are separated on the UG with a sharp design while the MF/Alpina version is of a more traditional design. Ratchet wheel and crown wheels are finely finished. Standard jewel count.
