In 1962 Citizen responded to the Grand Seiko with their Chronometer model. It featured impressive accuracy, jewel count and long power reserve of about 53 hours. Special features include the escape wheel being situated under the balance wheel to allow for a larger balance and a micro regulator. This watch was available in Stainless steel, Gold plated 100 micron and Solid 18k Gold.
