If anything was to represent 1950-60’s Swiss watch styling it would be this Alpina Standard. The dial design is minimalist with a set of elegant Dauphine hands and dial markers. The watchmakin school: Biel cantonal polytechnic watchmaking school, chose the calibre 592/8 their standard calibre to train new watchmakers.
Case ref no: 15 has been professionally restored and is in good condition. Original signed crown Case size 34 w/o crown. Alpina 598E is in good condition. Serviced by me November 2023.
