Case back is shut on tight. It’s super glue time!
I get the movement out of the case and what a nice dial!
I remove the hands and dial.
A little dry and dirty, but no rust or other issues!
I have a feeling this movement has never been serviced before as it’s very tidy!
I start taking the chronograph layer apart.
You can see quite a bit of dirt in the gear train!
The old mainspring.
Movement cleaned and ready to be put back together.
Clean mainspring goes into the barrel.
setting/winding mechanism goes back in place.
Base movement almost back together.
I start putting the chronograph parts back on to the movement.
Movement back together looking great!
Could not ask for better performance either!
Movement goes back into the case and looks like new! Note this version has the less common Kif shock protection.
Very unusual to find the 105 with case ref 806.
Very much my cup of tea!
that’s a movement!
