A client has sent in his lovely Piaget calibre 9P. The watch is not keeping time and needs a service.
The Timegraph reading is erratic, but the movement looks nice. The dial is of the sort that snaps in place around the case ring.
The movement is cleaned and ready to be put back together. I start by fitting the cap jewels and seeing that the balance moves freely. I clean and use the old mainspring as it still looks good.
Movement comes back together and is preforming much better!
The cannon pinion is too looser and needs tightening. In comparison to my hand it is a very small part.
Movement goes back into the case and looks very nice!
