This Omega looks to be in good original condition, but it is in need of a little TLC.
Movement looks pretty good!
Even though the watch is running it’s not keeping very good time.
The central seconds tension spring is deformed.
I have removed the train bridge and you can see the gear train.
Old mainspring.
All the parts cleaned and ready to be put back together.
Testing that the balance swings freely after fitting the jewels.
Movement coming back together.
Movement put back together and ticking.
Super performance.
Setting/winding mechanism back in place and ready for dial and hands.
I have replaced the central seconds hand as the old one was wrong.
At £33 a shot I always feel a little unconformable fitting original Omega crystals;)
Movement in the case looking good!
Classic Omega ready to be used!
Real good timekeeper!
Watch is also available for sale;)
