A customer sent me his grandfathers old watch hoping I can bring it back to it’s former glory. He knows it’s not a valuable piece, but it has a good quality movement and the dial is good condition.
Movement comes apart without any issues. I send the case to replateit in Canada.
Movement is cleaned and I fit a new mainspring. I also see that the balance moves freely when I fit the shock jewels.
Base movement back together and running like an ETA should! I fit the dial and place the movement back into the newly restored case. What a transformation!
