I found this Skyliner in Japan and it needs a little work. It features calibre: 402. It is ticking, but not keeping time. The case will be sent to Canada for restoration.
Wow what a dial! Impossible to capture the beauty with my camera! Movement is dirty, but in good condition. As with any higher end Seiko of the time it has lots of cap jewels!
Movement is cleaned and ready to be put back together. I have oiled and wound the old mainspring back into the barrel. I fit the shock jewels to see that the balance moves freely.
The movement comes together and what a great little performer it is!
