Omega calibre 30.T2. was introduced in 1939 in order to phase out the ageing cal 26.5. It has was designed by the assistant technical director for Omega AS; Henry Kneuss and is a in-house design/manufacture movement. From the first unit produced in December 1938 until end of production in 1963 over 3 million movements had been made, during this time a range of different variants where produced.
